The Four-Day Training Course on the Water, Energy, Food Security, and Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus in a Changing Climate was conducted in May 2025, designed to deepen participants’ comprehension of the intricate interconnections among these essential sectors. The course highlighted a systems-oriented approach to sustainably managing resources in light of the challenges presented by climate change. Through expert-led presentations, engaging modules, and practical case studies, participants investigated strategies for integrated planning and policy-making that reconcile competing demands and enhance resilience. A particular emphasis placed on recognizing synergies, reducing trade-offs, and encouraging cross-sector collaboration to achieve sustainable development in a climate-affected environment.
