Fouad H. Saeed is a highly qualified Water Resources Engineer with over twenty years of combined field and academic experience in water resources management, hydrologic modeling, the impact of climate change, river sedimentation, land monitoring, and remote sensing. He has authored in excess of eighteen scientific publications on topics such as climate change adaptation, desertification assessment, land degradation monitoring, and river sedimentation modeling. Currently, he is affiliated with the Ministry of Water Resources in Iraq, where he contributes to national projects that emphasis sustainable water resources management and climate change resilience, and he also serves as a UNFCCC negotiator for Iraq on climate change related issues.
