Ongoing Research: Strengthening Education for Children in the Iraqi Marshlands: Adaptive Strategies for Resilient Learning

This research was initiated in May 2026, following the completion of a strategic national framework study aimed at mitigating drought in the marshlands of southern Iraq. Building on its findings, the ongoing study addresses urgent concerns about how to better support children’s education in vulnerable marshland communities to improve access, continuity, and quality of learning under conditions of environmental degradation, climate stress, and fragile socio-economic settings.
