Course Overview
Sustainability Essentials — Building Responsible Organisations is a 6-day CPD accredited foundational training course designed to equip professionals, managers, academics and researchers, and business leaders with the knowledge and tools to integrate sustainable practices into their organisations. Through real-world examples, practical frameworks, and global insights, this course explores the core principles of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) responsibility.
Course Duration and Schedule
The course will be delivered over 30 hours, scheduled as 5 hours per day across 6 days.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Appraise the core principles of sustainability and their relevance to modern organisations, including environmental, social, and economic dimensions.
- Understand and digest the role of organisations in implementing sustainable development through ethical practices, stakeholder engagement, and responsible decision-making.
- Apply key sustainability frameworks and standards such as the UN SDGs, ESG metrics, and GRI guidelines to evaluate organisational performance.
- Identify the roles, responsibilities, and strategic influence of the Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO) in leading organisational sustainability initiatives.
